Weekend Update time...
[I will now be including in my posts a song or band that reflects my mood or that i just really like and want to share with all three people that read this]

Song: Pink- Glitter in the Air
"have you ever wished for an endless night, lasso the moon and the stars and pulled that rope tight. have you ever, held your breath and, asked yourself will it ever get better than tonight"

oh, weekend. you are delightful. it might be 2:33am...but i continue to sit awake because it has been another of those nights. the nights with moments that you can't completely put into words. "they" say that college and this age is the time when you'll make friend you keep for the rest of your life and you'll make memories that you keep with you forever. well, I completely agree. what makes me think this? well, this weekend is a great example. don't await some incredible tale of adventure, most of my favorite nights are pitifully simple.

holy crap, i just started to write like a detailed and very stylized-writing depiction of the weekend but it took ten minutes to get through half of friday night. lets stick to the basics shall we?

friday- grocery shopping [i love it for some reason]
p.f. changs with becca joey steven danny and steph
throwing up in the car haha
had a moment---more on that later

saturday- slept in :]
hukilau with becca
met up with joey mitch dj bonnie, etc for my first attempt at surfing. basically, its not fun.
i didn't try for any waves and i am sore and very badly sunburnt. it will not be my new hobby
then to chinatown for the chinese new year festivities. great fun! watched lion dances, bought nonsense, ate crepes...?

sunday- church
nap [best sunday activity ever]
watched sunset with becca at sacrificial spot
movie with mitch spencer and caitlyn
skinny-dipping. [kinda...haha people had different people had different levels of clothing] it was weird.

like i said, a relatively simple weekend, but just so much fun. like the interaction and the feel of the nights are priceless. thats what i'm getting at with the moments i can't put words to. the kind of thing where you just know that this is what being young is about. this is what being carefree is about.

if anyone has read the perks of being a wallflower, i'm talking about the way charlie felt when they were coming home from the dance or something listening to that song and standing up in the tunnel and he says "i feel infinite."

I still have my best friends from college! So what they say is right! :)

Oh and I love to grocery shop too!
